Greenboard, the AI-native system of action for SEC and FINRA compliance, today launched GreenboardGo2.0, the first AI harness built for compliance teams. It builds on GreenboardGo, the conversational AI layer Greenboard introduced in May, and runs across the whole Greenboard platform, so compliance teams can ask, configure and automate any part of their program from one place, with every step written to a WORM-based, 17a-4 compliant record.

GreenboardGo2.0 also works where teams do: in Slack, Teams, Claude and ChatGPT, with more than 240 Greenboard tools available over MCP. Everything runs inside the permissions the compliance team sets, and a person signs off before anything is final.

“GreenboardGo is a new category of product, and is effectively what we have been building towards since we started the business. I expect by 2030 AI harnesses will totally replace all other compliance software, and we’re the first to bring this to market.”

A new category of compliance software

A foundation model alone can't do compliance work, which depends on reaching the right policy, record, tool, and person at the right time. A harness supplies that connection, along with the firm's context, its guardrails and an evidence trail an examiner can follow. Traditional platforms ship a fixed list of features. GreenboardGo2.0 gives teams the parts to build their own agents: any trigger, any context, any sequence of actions, and the exact point where a person signs off.

“Harnesses turn AI models into step-change productivity gains in real-world work. Software engineers and lawyers already know this. With GreenboardGo2.0, the compliance profession will too.”

A fiduciary commitment

Greenboard is also publishing its fiduciary commitment, built on six principles: loyalty, care, candor, supervision, agency and continuity. GreenboardGo works only for the firm using it, Greenboard doesn't sell firm data, and the firm's data leaves with it whenever it asks. The full commitment is at greenboard.com/fiduciary-commitment.

One platform for the entire compliance program

GreenboardGo2.0 runs on the platform that served 750 regulated firms and 35,000 people last quarter. That platform covers archiving and AI-native supervision for email, social and text; employee compliance, including attestations, pre-clearance and trade monitoring; marketing review; firm compliance and filings; and third-party due diligence. Because it all sits on one record, the harness works across every module. It can modify workflows, forms, rules and settings, report across the program, and automate anything a team can build in Greenboard, always within the firm's permissions.
